League Rules

1 - General Provisions

1. The Socca small-sided league is a year-round competition. The season begins in September and ends with a final event in June or July. A winter break is scheduled depending on need and the fixture calendar.
2. Matches are generally played on Sundays. In special cases, matches may also be played on public holidays.
3. Each team is responsible for ensuring that all members know and comply with the current league regulations.
4. The federation may amend the league regulations at any time, but such changes do not apply retroactively. Last update: 25.07.2025.

2 - Scheduling and Match Operations

1. Venues are determined by the federation. Teams may submit preferred kick-off times by 15 August (autumn) and 15 January (spring).

These requests will be considered whenever possible.

2. Kick-off times may be shifted by up to 2 hours until no later than Friday 12:00.
3. Home and away rights are relevant for preferred time requests.
4. Insufficient players = disciplinary forfeit (§14).

3 - Minimum Age and Eligibility

1. Players must be at least 16 years old.
2. Players must be properly registered.
3. Ineligible players lead to a 0:6 result and a monetary penalty.

4 - Squad List and Coach Registration

1. Minimum 3 outfield players plus 1 goalkeeper, otherwise the match is recorded as a 0:6 result.
2. Coach and assistant coach must be registered with the federation.
3. A maximum of 2 registered staff members may sit on the bench.

5 - Equipment and Kit Selection

1. All outfield players must wear matching clothing.
2. The home team plays in the designated kit.
3. If the colors clash: friendly match or cancellation.
4. The goalkeeper must stand out in color.

6 - Match Ball Regulations

1. Match balls are provided by the federation
2. Balls must be returned after the match.
3. A replacement ball must always be ready at the substitutes' bench.

7 - Sports Grounds and Conditions of Use

1. Changing rooms and pitch must be left clean.
2. Bringing outside food and drinks is prohibited.
3. Smoking on artificial turf is prohibited.
4. Only approved footwear is allowed.

8 - Playing Eligibility and Registrations

1. Player eligibility is published on the website.
2. Players must register themselves correctly.
3. Incorrect registration results in a monetary penalty.
4. 1st/2nd Bundesliga players are not eligible for international competitions.
5. New registrations are accepted until Thursday 12:00.
6. FINALS: players must have either an appearance or a registration before 5 May.
7. Ineligible players result in 0:6 and further penalties.

9 - Finances and Fees

1. Fans of Socca: EUR 70 per match. Pro League: EUR 3000 per season.
2. The season may be paid in advance.
3. Fees may be adjusted for inflation.
4. Outstanding payments may lead to suspension.
5. If the account balance falls below 0, the account may be blocked.

10 - Contract Terms and Membership

1. The contract is open-ended, with a 7-day right of withdrawal.
2. Withdrawal is only possible at the end of the season (by 5 May).
3. No cancellation means automatic renewal.
4. A takeover during the season is possible.
5. Special cancellation is possible until 15 August upon payment of half the seasonal fee.

11 - Match Cancellations and No-Shows

1. The federation may cancel matches.
2. Failure to appear results in a 0:6 loss.
3. Late arrival results in a 0:6 loss.
4. Penalties:

1st cancellation: EUR 100

2nd cancellation: EUR 200

3rd cancellation: EUR 470

4th cancellation: EUR 670

5th cancellation: EUR 1000

12 - Match Postponements

1. One match per autumn/spring season may be postponed.
2. Only if both teams and the federation agree (cost: EUR 70).

13 - Transfers and Player Changes

1. Transfers are only allowed during breaks, otherwise EUR 200.
2. 1 player = 1 transfer per season.
3. Players without an appearance for at least 6 months may change teams at any time.

14 - Penalties and Disciplinary Measures

1. Penalties are imposed by the disciplinary senate.
2. Abuse of the referee: 2-10 matches.
3. Physical assault on the referee: 6 months-2 years.
4. Physical assault on a player: 3-8 matches.
4a. Repeated physical assault: lifetime ban.
5. Mass confrontation: 3-10 matches plus EUR 1000 fine.
6. Racism: 6 months-2 years.
7. Failure to appear: EUR 300 plus possible points deduction.
8. Ineligible player: 0:6 plus up to EUR 100.
