Matchday report
This matchday, held on a Thursday, was all about the "English weeks" (double-header weeks). It was a turbulent English week indeed.
Fans of Socca A:
FC Sanglas continues to gain momentum and is cementing its dominance in the league. Their closest pursuer at the moment is FC Nani. Schöpfwerk United dealt themselves a bad hand: due to the misconduct of a player who could not restrain himself toward the referee, their top match against FC Nani resulted in an abandonment and was recorded as a 0-6 loss. As a result, the championship is now a distant prospect. However, their spot in the SOCCA FINALS does not seem to be in danger. On Thursday, they vented their frustration by beating PovFootball 23-3.
The "team of the hour" is Tabularasa, who, thanks to a maximum points haul, are in the qualifying ranks for the Finals for the first time. The success streak of the Polish Kickers was halted as they suffered two defeats. The dark horse, FC Zlatix (Fans of Socca Champions 2025), also picked up 6 points and remains only 3 points away from the Finals spots. It’s going to be a heated battle in the final sprint.
Fans of Socca B:
Thursday was dominated by the "Big Four." The top four teams in the table faced each other directly. Perspolis Ballers claimed a surprisingly clear victory against FC Luggat, as did Imperio Ottoman against Trezor Kickers. What was a four-way battle quickly turned into a head-to-head race between the two winners. Perspolis Ballers has a game in hand against Ayyildiz and sits 3 points behind Imperio Ottoman. FC BÖJ also beat Trezor Kickers, securing 4th place in League B. This marks the first time Trezor has slipped out of the Big Four.
Karthago has little hope left for the Finals. Although the team secured full points on both matchdays, they remain 10 points behind with only 5 games left to play.
Fans of Socca C:
There was only one matchday in League C.
With three matchdays remaining, Grenzüberschritt took another step toward the championship with a 6-4 victory over FC Gurbet’s second team. They now lead Los Amigos by 5 points. Olimpique Vienna also continues to dream of the Finals; the team beat Tajik Boys and, with 21 points, sits just 3 points behind the second qualification spot.
The Alphas defeated BFC Ultimate Team in a "basement duel" (bottom-of-the-table clash). Despite the results, BFC remains highly motivated and is already aiming for improvements for the new season.
Fans of Socca D:
League D is heading toward a showdown between Sariyer FC and Reinigung4you. After the first half of the season, Sariyer leads with 18 points, just ahead of their pursuer (17 points). League D currently resembles a two-tier society, as the favorites won their matches decisively on both matchdays.
