Ready For Socca – The Warm-Up Tournament

With Ready For Socca, Socca Austria is launching a special warm-up tournament designed both for established teams and for newcomers who want to experience league football firsthand. The event will take place on August 31 and September 14, with each date hosting its own independent tournament. The venue is the SV Donau ground, home of Socca Austria, which offers the perfect setting for an exciting day of football.

The tournament is open to all teams eager to prepare for the upcoming season or simply curious to get a taste of organized small-sided football. This event provides an excellent opportunity for both experienced squads and new teams to compete in a professional and enjoyable environment.

The entry fee is €50 for Socca Austria members and €80 for new teams. As an added bonus, if a new team decides to register for the Socca League afterwards, the full entry fee will be credited toward their league participation.

Depending on the number of participating teams, the tournament will feature a group stage followed by a knockout phase. Teams should plan for a full day of football action from 10:00 to 15:00.

Each team needs 5 outfield players plus a goalkeeper, with a maximum squad size of 14 players. Socca Austria members may also field non-registered players, offering additional flexibility for their line-ups.
