Fans of Socca Regular Season Report 2024/2025
Fans of Socca A:
WINNER - FC Zaltix: Said, promised, and kept. Already on the third matchday, after starting the season with a loss against FC Stockerau, they promised to win the league. In the end, they only allowed a draw and won the league by eight points. As expected, Edin Bijeljinac was the top scorer at the end of the day, with an incredible 79 goals in 18 games.
Runner up - FC Strassl: After a great start to the season, they were considered the top scorer for a long time. However, they ultimately couldn't keep pace with FC Zlatix. Entering the winter break without a loss, they suffered several unexpected defeats in the second half of the season and lost sight of Zlatix.
3rd Place - FC Stockerau: Even though they had made it to the winter break without a loss, they had a mixed bag of results in the spring. Due to several absences, they were unable to maintain their consistency and sometimes carelessly dropped points. In the end, they even had a chance to take the runner-up spot. Due to the head-to-head record, they had to settle for third place.
Tabularasa FC: The technically strong Tabularsa team had a stumbling start to the league, but gradually emerged as one of the favorites. Equipped with technically strong players, the team can beat virtually anyone. In the end, they finished fourth, securing the last FINALS spot.
Mugiwara FC: Right at the start of the season, Mugiwara FC made their mark on the league. The setback for the likeable squad came immediately after the winter break, when they faced the leagueās top three teams and failed to pick up a single point. In the end, they missed out on the finals by just 6 points.
Maarif FC: Maarif FCās season can only be described as a rollercoaster ride. The tough, resilient team always managed to string together streaks ā whether wins or losses, it was always in series. In the end, 6th place was more than deserved.
FC Band Amir: The team started the season under a different name and underwent a major overhaul. They kicked off with three wins in a row and remained unbeaten in their first six matches. But then came a collapse. In the second half of the season, they turned into the leagueās La Bestia Negra, frustrating top teams and even managing to beat FC Strassl.
FC Polnische Kickers: Our friends from Poland showed great morale and fighting spirit throughout the season. Unfortunately, age caught up with them, and they sometimes ran out of steam during matches, unable to maintain the tempo until the end. Still, 8th place was a respectable achievement.
Triowls: Triowls began the season strong ā carefree and confident. But due to squad limitations, the team collapsed in the second half, particularly in the home stretch. They couldnāt replicate their early performances, losing 7 of their last 8 matches.
FC Power: A very young team that seemed to underestimate the level of the Socca League. They lost their first seven matches of the season. Only in the final stretch did they get into gear, winning 6 out of their last 7. Experience was lacking ā letās see what the next season brings.
Club de Futbol: The disappointment of the season. After two strong opening matches, they were seen as title contenders. Technically gifted and excellent in combination play. But what followed was pure disillusionment. Squad problems and the absence of key players couldnāt be compensated for. The crash was inevitable ā and the final table position doesnāt reflect the teamās actual quality.
Ayyildiz FC: Ayyildiz FC had a mid-season phase where they managed to string together a few wins. But early on and towards the end, defeats rained down. Some wins were awarded off the pitch. For the next season, the team clearly needs to step up.
FC Al Wahda: Only one win on the pitch in the entire season. Several crushing defeats followed. Toward the end of the first half of the season, it even looked like the team might withdraw from competition altogether.
Fans of Socca B
WINNER - SU Wisla Wien: On the final matchday, the Polish squad secured the championship. After a slip-up by Povfootball SK, their win over bottom-placed FSC Vienna United clinched the title. Over the entire season, they deserved it ā losing only twice and winning the league thanks to superior goal difference.
Runner up - Povfootball SK: They looked like the sure champions. But on the final matchday, nerves got the better of them. Their second defeat of the season ā against third-placed Taxi United ā shattered their title hopes. Thatās football. But thereās still a shot at glory in the finals!
3rd place - Taxi United: Taxi United had a promising start, winning their first three games. But then they came up short against the leagueās top two teams. In the end, they played the role of spoiler ā handing Povfootball SK a surprising 11:5 defeat on the final day.
Karthago FC: Started the season with high expectations and even beat the eventual champions Wisla Wien 5:3 on opening day (rescheduled match). But in the second half of the season, they only managed a narrow win over bottom team FSC Vienna United. This team had much more potential.
FSC Torpedo Korneuburg: If youāre looking for spirit and team unity, this is the place. Without big expectations but with huge heart, they began their SOCCA journey. They didnāt pick up a single win until the last matchday ā where they earned a strong victory against Karthago FC. That gives us something to look forward to next season!
FSC Vienna United: FSC Vienna United were underrated all season. Looking closely, they lost several matches only narrowly ā even against top teams. On the final day, they went ahead twice against Wisla Wien before eventually losing the match. This team has more to offer than the table suggests.
