Match Report, May 18, 2025

Fans of Socca A:

⚽ Triowls vs FC Stockerau:
The third-placed team, still with minimal hopes for the championship, kicked things off. All eight goals in the 5:3 spectacle came in the second half. FC Stockerau went into halftime with a 1:0 lead. In the second half, Triowls equalized twice. In the end, FC Stockerau prevailed with a 5:3 win.

⚽ Tabularasa vs Mugiwara FC:
In the battle for fourth place – the final spot for the tournament – Tabularasa and Mugiwara ended in a 2:2 draw. Mugiwara had taken a 2:0 lead in the first half. Just before the break, Arda Yoztürk scored to cut the deficit. It was Arda again in the second half who secured the final scoreline. Mugiwara failed to gain ground on the fourth place.

⚽ FC Polnische Kickers vs FC Zlatix:
The league leaders once again demonstrated their dominance. With a 7:2 thrashing of the Polish Kickers, they consolidated their top position. After 21 matches, Zlatix have only one draw and one loss, and are already five points ahead. Can anyone still take the championship from them?

⚽ FC Band Amir vs Ayyildiz FC:
Ayyildiz managed to stay competitive for just 10 minutes against Band Amir. Then everything fell apart. A 2:0 lead turned into a crushing 2:9 defeat. It was the fourth loss in five games for Ayyildiz. Band Amir celebrated their second consecutive win.

⚽ FC Maarif vs Club de Futbol:
After a long dry spell, Club de Futbol finally secured another win. Erhan Topkan was the standout player, scoring four goals for his team. It was the second consecutive defeat for Maarif. The match was a tale of two halves – Club de Futbol only showed their class in the second half and won the game 6:3 (halftime score 2:2).

Fans of Socca B:

⚽ Povfootball vs FSC Vienna United:
A day to forget for FSC Vienna. A 0:9 defeat against the second-placed team and not a single goal scored. The scoreline was harsher than the game itself. Amre Avci scored a hat-trick in his team's win. Povfootball is now level on points with the league leaders and waiting to pounce.

⚽ Karthago FC vs Wisla Wien:
League leaders Wisla Wien continued their winning streak. Against Karthago, they secured another comfortable three points, though the match wasn’t decided until the last 13 minutes. Karthago managed to keep things tight for a long time, but then Wisla delivered a triple blow to win 4:1. Next week brings the big showdown against Povfootball.

⚽ Taxi United vs FSC Torpedo:
Despite a 14:2 victory for Taxi United over FSC Torpedo, the man of the match was surprisingly Torpedo’s goalkeeper. The defeat could have been even worse. Christian Zinner made save after save in the first half, frustrating Taxi United. In the second half, however, he was helpless. Fatih Cetinkaya scored six goals, almost single-handedly dismantling FSC Torpedo.

Pro League:

Only one match took place due to rescheduling.

⚽ FC Nani vs FC Sanglas:
The league leaders, with regular playmaker Martin Pajaczkowski in goal, won the game in their typical fashion. At times, they shifted down a gear or two and invited their opponents to score. However, despite a phase in which FC Nani scored four consecutive goals, the win was never really in doubt. Next week brings a top match against FK Bacishta.
